Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and State respondents. 3. In spite of service of notice private respondents are not represented. 4. Petitioner lodged a complaint dated 10th March, 2026 before the concerned police authority alleging assault and damaging petitioner’s property. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that in spite of lodging complaint dated 10th March, 2026 no steps have been taken by the concerned police authorities. 5. Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 17th March, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Udaynarayanpur Police Station, Howrah and same is taken on record. Copy of the communication dated 17th March, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. 6. It is disclosed in the communication dated 17th March, 2026 that based on investigation made by the police authorities Udaynarayanpur Police Station Non-Cognizable Report No. 120/2026 dated 16th March, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS was submitted against the respondent no.14 and other two persons. 7. In view of steps taken by the police authorities Court directs that subsequent steps to be taken by the police authorities in accordance with law. 8. However, concerned authorities of Udaynarayanpur Police Station, Howrah are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and keep vigil. 9. The writ petition stands disposed of. 10.
