ORDER:
The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:
“…to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.2 in not disposing of the Appeal No.BCW1/162/2017, filed by the respondent No.6 as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and violation of Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to dispose of the Appeal No.BCW1/162/2017 filed by the respondent No.6 and pass…”
2. Sri G. Divyatheja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, submitted that he has no written instructions.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that his enquiry revealed that no order has been passed so far by the respondent No.2 in the impugned appeal and requested to give a direction for early disposal of the appeal, as no order was passed in spite of appearance of the petitioner along with his counsel more than two times so far.
4. Considering the submissions made on both sides, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to pass an order in response to the notice issued vide CCLA’s Ref.No.BCW1/162/2017, dated 12.02.2026, as per law, within two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, upon considering the explanation, if any, submitted by the petitioner, if so far appeal is not disposed of.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
