1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following relief:-
“10.1. That, this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to call for the entire records of Revenue Case No. 05/A-1/2024-25 from the respondent authorities; 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, particularly a writ of certiorari, quashing and setting aside the impugned order dated 08.05.2025 passed by the respondent no.3 in Revenue Case No. 05/A- 1/2024-25.; 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to remand the matter to the competent revenue authority for fresh consideration in accordance with law after taking into
consideration the Misal Bandobast 1928-29, the Rights Record/Khasra/Jamabandi records, the
order dated 09.08.1999 passed by respondent no.5, and all other documents produced by the petitioner; 10.4 That, if this Hon'ble Court finds the documentary record sufficient, an appropriate writ,
order or direction may kindly be issued for correction of the revenue entries in accordance with the petitioner's lawful entitlement and the applicable provisions of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959. 10.5 That, any other relief/order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, including costs, may
3 kindly be granted in favour of the petitioner.”

Learned counsel appearing for the State has raised a preliminary objection stating that the petitioner has an alternative remedy before the concerned Commissioner against the order dated 08.05.2025 passed by the Additional Collector, Bilaspur (C.G.), and, as such, the present petition itself is not maintainable.
3. Considering the aforesaid aspect of the matter, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner may be granted liberty to avail the alternative remedy by approaching the concerned Commissioner in accordance with law.
4. In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned Commissioner, before whom the alternative remedy is available. Since the impugned order was passed on 08.05.2025, the petitioner is directed to avail the said remedy within a period of 30 days from today.
5. With this observation and direction, this petition stands disposed of.
6. Interlocutory application(s), pending if any, also stands disposed of.
