This petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2 to decide petitioner’s representation dated 04.04.2026 (Annexure No.5) in accordance with law within a time bound manner, and further to direct the respondents to keep safe the required CCTV footage during the time in which petitioner’s representation is decided; and further provided a copy of the same to the petitioner. 4. It transpires from the pleadings that First Information Report No.0006 of 2026 was lodged under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018) against Smt. Rakhi Saini, the wife of petitioner. Petitioner wants the CCTV footage be kept safe and a copy thereof is being demanded by him. 5. Having regard to the facts of the case, this Court is of the view that petitioner has no locus to maintain such petition before this Court. His wife Smt. Rakhi Saini, the accused, can very well move an application before the Court within whose jurisdiction the FIR was lodged and the investigation is going on. There is no 2026:UHC:2940 reason for this Court to pass any direction in respect of that FIR. 6. In such view of the matter, no interference is called for. The writ petition is dismissed in limine.
