Rakib (Allowed) CRM (NDPS) 1685 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Raiganj Police Station case no. 248 of 2026 dated 08.03.2026 under Sections 21(c)/25/29 of the NDPS Act. And In the matter of : Tinku Abasthi @ Dingha & Anr. ……Petitioners. Mr. Jisan Iqubal Hossain .....for the Petitioners. Mr. Rajdeep Biswas Mr. Somnath Bera ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submit that petitioners are similarly situated as the other accused person who has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 1627 of 2026. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail. However, the locus of the present petitioners has not been disputed in respect to the other accused who has been granted bail. In view of the aforesaid, present petitioners namely, Tinku Abasthi @ Dingha and Tanmoy Laha @ Tonu be released on bail on same terms and conditions which was imposed upon Rajib Chowdhury @ Raju in CRM (NDPS) 1627 of 2026. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) No. 1685 of 2026 is allowed. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
