JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs: “a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for absorption in the Zilla Panchayat Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru in terms of the recommendation made by the Gram Panchayath and Taluk Panchayath and pay all the consequential benefits consequent upon absorption in the Panchayath. b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for absorption in the Pattana - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20685 WP No. 21963 of 2024 Panchayath consequent upon the Doddathogur Gram Panchayath where the petitioner was working merged with the 5th respondent in terms of the recommendation made by the Gram Panchayath and Taluk Panchayath and pay all the consequential benefits consequent upon absorption in the Pattana Panchayath. (c) Direct the contenting respondents to pay the costs of these proceedings and grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble court deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for respondent Nos.1 to 3, learned counsel for respondent Nos.4 and 5, respectively and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his claim has not been considered so far by the respondents nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition. 4. Per contra, learned AGA for respondent Nos.1 to 3 - State and learned counsel for respondent Nos.4 and 5 jointly submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider the claim of the petitioner. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20685 WP No. 21963 of 2024 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, respondent No.4 is hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider his claim bearing in mind Annexures-C, D, E, F and G and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
