AGP Ms. Sucharita Sinha Chatterjee …..for the State respondents 1) Learned advocate representing petitioner submits that during pendency of this writ petition petitioner was taken into custody and subsequently was enlarged on bail. However, it is submitted that such steps were taken by investigating agency in connection with another criminal prosecution. 2) Since petitioner is enlarged on bail in another criminal prosecution, it is submitted that matter may be disposed of with direction upon concerned police authorities to protect petitioner’s interest. 3) Hence, writ petition stands disposed of with direction upon concerned police authorities to provide protection to the petitioner, if occasion so arises. 4) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
