1. Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record.
2. The revisional application has been preferred by the wife/petitioner praying for transfer of Matrimonial Suit No.1886 of 2025 from the Court of learned Fast Tract Court-I at Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas to the Court of learned District Judge, Alipore, South 24 Parganas.
3. It is the case of the petitioner/wife that she resides at 17, S.N. Chatterjee Road, P.O. Sahapur, P.S. Behala, Kolkata 700038, District – South 24 Parganas.
4. On the other hand, the opposite party/husband resides at 589/19, Nandan Apartment, 1st Floor, Flat No.3. R.N. Tagore Road, Kamarhati Municipality, P.S. Belgharia, District- North 24 Parganas, Pin-700056.
5. The petitioner/wife now prays that the suit being Matrimonial Suit no. 1886 of 2025 pending in the Court of the learned Fast Tract Court-I,

Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas be transferred to the Court of the learned District Judge, Alipore, South 24 Parganas.
6. On hearing the learned Counsel for the parties and on perusal of the materials on record it appears that admittedly the petitioner is presently working for gain in UK drawing a handsome salary.
7. The opposite party/husband at present working at Hyderabad in India.
8. The petitioner has prayed for transfer of the case to Alipore Court.
9. Considering the facts that the petitioner is working for gain in UK and also has no children, the prayer for transfer of the case will not serve any purpose other than to harass the opposite party.
10. Accordingly C.O. 2462 of 2026 stands dismissed on merit.
11. Interim order in the present case stands vacated.
