02/22.01.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bero P.S. Case No. 19 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 15©/18(b)/22(c)/25/29 of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Commissioner cum Spl. Judge, Ranchi.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that by way of Annexure-2 which is the sale of agreement of selling an Alto car, the said car has already been sold by the petitioner to Mahesh Lohra in the year
2019. He next submits that the said Alto car was found to be loaded with doda of 27.500 kilogram on 28.02.2025. He further submits that however, the registration was not transferred in the office of D.T.O. in the name of the new purchaser. He also submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in para-23 of the petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that from the said Alto car recovery of doda to the tune of 27.500 kilogram are there and in the D.T.O. office, the name of the new purchaser has not been transferred.
5. Considering that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in para-23 of the petition and Annexure-2 is the document of sale

letter on a non-judicial stamp and it transpires from the backside of the stamp that it was purchased on 03.09.2019 and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner cum Spl. Judge, Ranchi, in connection with Bero P.S. Case No. 19 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
