Pet Rural Police Station, Mandya for the offences punishable under Section 352, 115(2), 126(2), 109(1), 351(2) of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.195 of 2026 registered by K.R. Pet Rural Police Station, Mandya for the aforesaid offences - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010498362026 NC: 2026:KHC:45348 CRL.P No. 10863 of 2026 registered against the petitioner herein, based on the first information dated 25.06.2026 received from Sharatha Kumar.B., who is one of the alleged victim in the present case. Apprehending arrest in the said case, the petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.No.5245 of 2026, which was rejected by the jurisdictional Sessions Court on 14.07.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. Material on record would go to show that in respect of the alleged incident that had taken place on 25.06.2026, there is a case and counter case registered by the K.R. Pet Rural Police Station in Crime No.195 of 2026 and Crime No.196 of 2026. Injured victims in the present case are named as accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.196 of 2026, which is registered for the offences punishable under Sections 352, 329(3), 126(2), 109(1), 351(2), 74, 118(1), 3(5) of BNS, 2023. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned High Court Government Pleader that the injured victims in the present case have only - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010498362026 NC: 2026:KHC:45348 CRL.P No. 10863 of 2026 suffered simple injuries as a result of assault made by the petitioner. 5. Undisputedly, the petitioner has no other criminal antecedents and he has undertaken to co-operate with the police for the purpose of investigation. Accordingly, the following: O R D E R The criminal petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioner in the event of his arrest in Crime No.195 of 2026 registered by K.R. Pet Rural Police Station, Mandya for the offences punishable under Section 352, 115(2), 126(2), 109(1), 351(2) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010498362026 NC: 2026:KHC:45348 CRL.P No. 10863 of 2026 the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. b) Petitioner shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. c) Petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution witness and he shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon. d) Petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future.
