G.P. for Revenue The Court made the following: 2 BSB,J W.P.No.16601 of 2026 ORDER: The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents Nos. 2 to 4 in considering the petitioner's plea on merits for granting possession certificate with respect to agriculture land in Survey No.78A (old Survey No.78) to an extent of Ac. 1.11 cents situated at Maddigatla Village, Nandikotkur Mandal, Nandyal District, basing on his continuous possession and enjoyment of land in issue, as illegal and arbitrary against principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents Nos. 2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's plea on merits for granting possession certificate and consequent mutations of the petitioner's name in revenue records with respect to said land and to pass…” 2. Sri G. Divyatheja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submitted that he has no instructions. However, he submitted that since the representation said to be given is dated 02.12.2024, the petitioner may submit a fresh petition in a proper form so that it can be disposed of as per law. 3. In reply, Sri B. Sivaramakrishna, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioner, requested to dispose of the writ petition giving the petitioner liberty to present a fresh representation with the same relief and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a reasonable time. 4. In view of the submissions made on both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to submit an application / representation afresh for grant of possession certificate with regard to the 3 BSB,J W.P.No.16601 of 2026 subject land to the respondent No.4 and upon such filing, the respondent No.4 shall dispose of the same within six (06) weeks therefrom.
