HARI HARANADHA SARMA WRIT APPEAL No.531 of 2026 JUDGMENT:(Per Hon’ble Sri Justice Battu Devanand ) The Writ Appeal is filed against the order, dated 18.02.2026 in W.P.No.2156 of 2026 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court and consequently, prayed to quash the charge memo, dated 29.08.2011, including all consequential disciplinary proceedings pending against the appellant. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Government Pleader for Services-I has placed the written instructions from the Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and basing on those instructions, would submit that the enquiry initiated against the appellant was concluded in compliance of the order, dated 18.02.2026 in W.P.No.2156 of 2026. The Enquiry Officer, in its report, concluded that the charges leveled against the appellant are not proved. It is also stated in the written instructions that the appellant’s candidature will also be considered for further promotion. 3. Considering the above factual position, as the enquiry is already concluded and the appellant’s candidature will be considered for promotion as stated by the respondents in their written instructions, in our considered view, further adjudication is not required in this Writ Appeal. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
