This is an application under section 483 of BNSS for grant of bail to the petitioner/accused person namely Samsuddin Ahmed @ Deep in connection with Page No.# 2/2 Tinsukia P.S Case No. 409/2025 corresponding to G.R Case No. 867/2025 u/s 281/125(a)125(b)/324(3)/105/117 BNS r/w section-3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984. This Court notices that the petitioner was the driver of the Night Super Bus which met with an accident in the morning at around 5:55 A.M on 25.11.2025 with an ambulance causing causalities. The petitioner has surrendered before the Investigating Authority and has been in custody since 26.11.2025. The CD called for is still awaited. This Court is of the opinion that further custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required in the nature of the offences alleged. Accordingly, the petitioner is found to be entitled the privilege of bail at this stage. It is directed that the petitioner be released on bail bond of Rs. 15,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court. The bail application stands disposed.
