In terms of order dated 7th August, 2026 matter is taken up for consideration when Mr. Suryaneel Das, learned Additional Government Pleader has filed a communication dated 19th August, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge, Beniapukur Police Station and same is taken on record. 2. It is disclosed in the said communication dated 19th August, 2026 that in two parallel criminal prosecutions charge-sheets were filed — one dated 2nd July, 2026 in connection with Beniapukur P.S. Case no.50 dated 2nd March, 2026 and another dated 3rd March, 2026 in connection with Beniapukur P.S. Case no.10 dated 14th January, 2026 before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 3. In view of filing of charge-sheets in aforesaid two separate criminal prosecutions, no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 4. However, it is submitted on behalf of petitioner that one complaint was lodged by petitioner on 5th June, 2026 but same did not yield any result. 5. If complaint of petitioner dated 5th June, 2026 remains unattended, in that event, petitioner shall be at [2] liberty to approach jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) of BNSS, 2023. 6. Writ petition stands dismissed. 7. However, this order shall not preclude petitioner to approach appropriate forum, if occasion so arises. 8.
