He submits, there has been issued Government Order (GO) dated 9th April, 2026, in line with judgment dated 28th May, 2025 of the Division Bench in Writ-C no. 718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar and Others Vs. State of U.P. and Others). 3. Respondent no. 2 (the District Magistrate) is directed to issue the character certificate following aforesaid Government Order dated 9th April, 2026. Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order along with copy of his online application to said respondent. The certificate be issued within two weeks of the communication. 4.
