The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would restrict the prayer for one of a direction to the concerned Court seeking speedy disposal of the matter. 3. In the light of the said submission, the examination gets narrowed to the fact as to the registration of the crime and the pending proceedings before the concerned Court. The crime is of the year 2017 and the matter is languishing before the concerned Court. A perusal at the order sheet would indicate adjournments being granted without rhyme or reason ad nauseam. 4. In that light, I deem it appropriate to infuse finality into the proceedings with a direction to the concerned Court to conclude the proceedings, within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier. 5. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed. - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010441262026 NC: 2026:KHC:42547 CRL.P No. 9369 of 2026 Ordered accordingly.
