Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, for issuance of appropriate directions/order, directing respondents No.3 and 4 to get conducted fair and impartial investigation in case bearing FIR No.245 dated 11.11.2025 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 115(2), 351(2), 117(4), 191(3), 190, 109, 303(2) and 117(2) of bns, 2023 (Sections 109, 117(2) and 303(2) added later on), at Police Station Baghapurana, District Moga. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that despite registration of the FIR against the private respondents, the investigating agency, at the instance of local MLA namely Amritpal Singh Sukhanand is shielding the private respondents and is not arresting them despite the fact that they are roaming openly in the village and have been participating in village political campaigns.
