(A) 1822 of 2026 In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Kaliachak Police Station Case No.573 of 2025 dated 10.04.2025 under Sections 329(4)/324(4)/326(g)/3(5) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; Pintu Sekh @ Pintu Sk @ Sintu Sk & Ors. Versus The State of West Bengal Mr. Wasim Akram Ms. Sabrina Parveen. …for the petitioners. Mr. Kalidas Saha. …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that there was a local agitation pursuant to which incident has been complained of. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary. I find that the house was set at fire because of anger of the present petitioners. Having considered the complicity of the present petitioners and the incriminating materials appearing in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, CRM(A)1822 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
