Thus, this case was adjourned, to be taken up later on. Later on, on repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the petitioner, though the names of two lawyers appear in the cause list. 2. This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as the petitioner is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 20, 21(b), 22(B), 25 and 29 of NDPS Act in connection with Ichak P.S. Case No. 149 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Act, Hazaribag. 3. Heard learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 4. Learned counsel for the state opposes the prayer for bail. 5. A raid was conducted in the area, as it was informed that some persons were dealing with the drugs. When the police reached the place of occurrence, some persons fled and the petitioner is one of them. The arrested persons disclosed that they had divided the area amongst themselves and the other persons deal in drugs and distribute them after demarcating their areas. 6. Though the petitioner has not been arrested from the spot, but the name of the petitioner has come from the concessional statement of co-accused. 7. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the materials, which are found from the persons, who have been arrested, and further the petitioner has got three criminal cases, out of which two cases i.e. Ichak P.S. Case No. 130 of 2024 and Ichak P.S. Case No. 146 of 2024 are under the NDPS Act, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner.
