The petitioner’s application for family pension made sometime in 2023 has not yet been considered on the ground that several documents required by the authorities to ascertain the eligibility of the petitioner to receive such pension has not been given. 3. Ms. Biswas, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that the documents sought for by the respondents are annexed to the writ petition at page nos. 42 and 45 respectively. 4. Mr. Singh, learned Advocate appearing for the authorities, submits that the document at page no. 45 does not specifically mention that “Satyen Lala” 2 and “Satyendra Nath Lala” are one and the same person and father of the petitioner. 5. In view of the aforestated, respondent no. 5 is directed to call the petitioner for a hearing and upon verifying all documents will proceed to decide on the issue whether the petitioner is entitled to family pension or not and pass a reasoned order thereof. If found eligible family pension will be disbursed in favour of the petitioner immediately. The entire exercise should be concluded by September 30, 2026. 6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There will be no order as to costs. 8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
