The grievance of the petitioner is that the father of the petitioner was getting Swatantrata Sainik Samman Yojana pension. After the death of the father of the petitioner, the mother of the petitioner was getting the said pension. The mother of the petitioner died on April 27, 2020. The petitioner has made a representation to the authorities for grant of the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Yojana pension. The petitioner is an unmarried daughter and is not having any income. He submits that the petitioner has made several correspondences with the Central Government and State Government but till date no final decision has been taken. He submits that lastly on July 11, 2022, the petitioner has made a representation to the Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home affair, Freedom Fighters’ Division for consideration of the case of the petitioner for grant of Swatantrata Sainik Samman Yojana pension but till 2 date the request of the petitioner has not been considered. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the Union of India submits that if direction is passed, the authorities will consider and pass the appropriate order in accordance with law. 3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 or any of his authorized officer shall consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated July 11, 2022 and pass appropriate order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this Court. 4. Accordingly, WPA 28910 of 2024 stands disposed of. 5. As this Court has not gone into the merit of the matter, the authorities are free to take decision in its own merit. As the writ petition is disposed of at the motion stage without calling for any affidavit, the allegations made in the writ petition deemed to have been denied. 6. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 7.
