ORAL ORDER
Learned counsel for the petitioners has moved the matter for a settlement, the offences being of the one punishable under Section 64 of the BNS.
2. Learned SPP-I appearing for the respondent-State would submit that charges have already been framed and there can be no question of either permitting discharge or closure of the subject proceedings on settlement.

3. In that light, the only relief that can be granted to the present petitioners is the closure of the proceedings before the concerned Court.
4. The concerned Court shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier.
Ordered accordingly and Writ Petition is disposed.
