We had, on 11.06.2026, initially adjourned HCP.No.448 of 2026 seeing as there was no reason to take the matter out of turn. Upon conclusion of the HCP matters, a mention was made by Mr.C.R.Malarvannan, learned Counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) to the effect that this HCP relates to a detention of the month of October, 2025 and also that the detaining authority had not made out a case for detention. 2. We, hence, took the matter out-of-turn at his instance, ultimately allowing the petition, inadvertently not noting the date of detention, which was of the month of January, 2026.
