H.C.P.No.448 of 2026 Dr. ANITA SUMANTH, J. and SUNDER MOHAN
, J.
(Order of the Court was made by Dr. ANITA SUMANTH, J.) We had, on 11.06.2026, initially adjourned HCP.No.448 of 2026 seeing as there was no reason to take the matter out of turn. Upon conclusion of the HCP matters, a mention was made by Mr.C.R.Malarvannan, learned Counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) to the effect that this HCP relates to a detention of the month of October, 2025 and also that the detaining authority had not made out a case for detention.
2. We, hence, took the matter out-of-turn at his instance, ultimately allowing the petition, inadvertently not noting the date of detention, which was of the month of January, 2026.
