Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 7th April, 2025 and has been illegally arrested and produced lately before the jurisdictional court. On the other hand, learned advocate for the de facto complainant submits that offence has been made out so far as the present petitioner is concerned and charges have been established. State has produced the case diary and referred to the statement of the victim under Section 183 of the BNSS as well as the medico legal examination report. It has also been contended that the evidence of the victim, her parents and medical officer as 2 well as the investigating officer of the case is over. Having considered the advanced stage of the case and the manner in which the trial is progressing, I am of the opinion that the petitioner’s prayer for bail at this stage should be rejected. Accordingly, CRM(M)1268 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
