1. A joint memo is filed and it is signed by learned counsel for appellant and learned counsel for respondent No. 2. The joint memo reads thus:

“The undersigned
learned counsel appearing for the Appellant/Claimant and the
learned counsel appearing for the Respondent- Insurance Company most respectfully submit that the parties have amicably settled the dispute in the above appeal for a total global compensation of Rs.5,57,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Fifty-Seven Thousand Only).
In view of the aforesaid settlement arrived at between the parties the respective Counsels are before this Hon’ble Court praying that the above appeal may kindly be disposed of in terms of the settlement. Therefore, it is submitted that the agreed global compensation shall be deposited before Trial court within two weeks and the entire amount shall be released in favour of Appellant.
WHEREFORE, it is most humbly prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to take this memo on record and dispose of the above matter as settled in the interest of justice and equity.”
