GP FOR FISHERIES The Court made the following: ORDER:- Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have obtained the requisite license from the competent authority for conducting Aquaculture Farm. The competent authority had granted license which is valid till 28.04.2031. It is submitted that the respondent authority on the pretext of receiving a complaint from a third party on interfering with the Aquaculture activity of the petitioners. 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the Fisheries Development Officer received a complaint from the villagers pertaining to the Aquaculture Farm of the petitioners. It is further submitted that the 3rd respondent has submitted written instructions to the learned Assistant Government Pleader duly informing that the competent authority has conducted an enquiry into the complaint received and found that there was no merit in the complaint. It is also submitted that the respondent authorities are not interfering with the Aquaculture business of the petitioners. 3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed off, making it clear to the respondents not to interfere with the Aquaculture and agricultural activities of the petitioners without following the due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
