And In the matter of : Rajkumar Sk @ Rajkumar ……Petitioner. Mr. Sekhar Kumar Basu, Sr. Adv, Mr. Diptangshu Basu Mr. Narattam Acharyya .....for the Petitioner. Mr. P. Karan Singh ……for the State. Learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 299 days and although, charge- sheet has been submitted but till date there has been no progress in the case and the next date is fixed on 23.09.2026 for witness action. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim. Primarily, I find that some role has been attributed to the present petitioner. As such at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Consequently, CRM (M) 1659 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim is over. Report submitted by the State in respect of the service being effected be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
