Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, it is noticed that respondent No. 2 has no jurisdiction to entertain an appeal under Section 56 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, against the order passed by respondent No.3. Therefore, the petitioners have to approach the Joint Director of Land - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010442352022 NC: 2026:KHC:43844 WP No. 19313 of 2022 Records, Bengaluru, challenging the order dated 18.10.2016 at Annexure-B. 4. Accordingly, the order dated 18.11.2019 at Annexure-A is hereby set aside, reserving liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent authority, as stated above, challenging the order dated 18.10.2016 at Annexure-B. 5. It is further observed that the time spent by the petitioners before this Court shall be condoned, in the event, the petitioner approaches the competent authority within an outer limit of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
