1. Memo of evidence filed on behalf of the State is taken on record.
2. Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that as per the allegations made in the First Information Report, the victim was married to the petitioner no. 1 some 15 years ago. The FIR discloses that husband of the victim as well as the other accused persons used to inflict torture upon the victim. Ultimately, the victim was ingested with poison. As a result of such ingestion, the victim died. He also submits that no specific overt act has been attributed to the petitioners. He prays for anticipatory bail.
3. On the other hand, learned advocate for the State submits that there are specific allegations against the petitioners. The petitioner no. 1 is the husband of the victim. He refers to the post mortem report.

4. I have gone through the materials in the case diary, the statements of the witnesses and the post mortem report. Such statements implicate the petitioners in inflicting torture upon the victim on demand for dowry. The Autopsy Surgeon found that the death of the victim was caused due to effect of a poisonous substance ingested.
5. Considering the nature of allegations, gravity of the offence and materials in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant the anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
