APP Mr. Rajesh Kr. Shah … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submit that the petitioner is in custody for nine and half months. Although, charge-sheet has been submitted but till date the case has not been committed to the court of Sessions. Mr. Rajendra Banerjee, ld. APP, appears for the State along with a junior of his choice as per the direction of this court. The appointment of both Mr. Banerjee and the junior of his choice, if any, be regularized by the concerned authority. Earlier, there was a direction passed by this court for production of the FSL report. Consequently, the Director- cum-Senior Chemical Examiner, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Government of West Bengal is present in court today with a report. The report speaks corroboration in 2 respect of the evidence collected by the Investigating Agency and the case has not proceeded for trial. Having considered the overall circumstances, I am of the opinion that, at this stage, it would not be fit and proper to release the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. The petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim is over. Accordingly, CRM (M) 2845 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report submitted by the Director-cum-Senior Chemical Examiner, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Government of West Bengal as also the report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
