Pass such other writ or order as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010529192026 NC: 2026:KHC:41587 WP No. 24046 of 2026 3. What is being challenged is the externment order passed under Section 55 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963 (for short, "the Act"). 4. It is not in dispute that the petitioner had been issued notice and had been heard before the order of externment was passed. There is no issue in the present matter as regards the exercise of jurisdiction or compliance with the principles of natural justice, requiring this Court to intervene by exercising powers under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India. 5. The petitioner has a statutory appellate remedy under Section 59 of the Act, which the petitioner can always avail of. In that view of the matter, the petition stands disposed, reserving liberty to the petitioner to avail of such statutory appellate remedy. 6. The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the appeal would be filed on or before 14.08.2026. If that be so, the respondents are restrained from implementing the order dated 18.07.2026 till the appeal is taken up for consideration. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010529192026 NC: 2026:KHC:41587 WP No. 24046 of 2026 7. Needless to say if the appeal is not filed by end of day 14.08.2026, the above liberty granted would stand automatically vacated. Sd/- (SURAJ GOVINDARAJ) JUDGE GJM List No.: 1 Sl No.: 15
