Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent nos.1 to 4. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue writ in the nature of Mandamus and direct the Respondents take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dtd.04/06/2026 for the act of Dowry harassment and also for the act of bigamy and - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010406102026 NC: 2026:KHC:41593 WP No. 18516 of 2026 cheating the petitioner by against the petitioners' husband, by considering the complaint dtd.04/06/2026 under ANNEXURE- G, G1 and G2 respectively. b. Issue such other order or direction as may be deemed fit to grant in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that a complaint filed by the petitioner on 04.06.2026 for the offence of dowry harassment under Section 498A of the IPC now under Section 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 has not been considered by the respondents. 4. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that necessary preliminary enquiry is being conducted in terms of the decision of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 and once the said preliminary enquiry is completed, necessary action would be taken. 5.
