This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayer:- “i) Quash and set aside the selection list as issued by the respondents for the post of Safai Karamchari in Nagar Palika Kherli, Distt. Alwar [2026:RJ-JP:8384] (2 of 3) [CW-20058/2018] in which they have selected all the posts from the reserve category. ii) The criteria of selection changed by the respondents vide order dated 29.5.2018 to the extent of include the application form of remaining candidates of SC, ST, OBC and SBC category (after selection of these category) in the lottery of general category may kindly be quashed and set aside. iii) The respondents may kindly be directed to again draw the category wise lottery for appointment to the post of Safai Karamchari in Municipality Kherli, Alwar and draw the lottery of general category separately and if any posts remained vacant in general category then same may be filled by other all category candidates and further if the petitioners found success in the draw of lottery in general category, they may be given appointment on the post of Safai Karamchari with all consequential benefits. iv) Any other order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case in favour of the petitioner.” 2. During course of arguments, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the petitioners may be granted permission to file an appropriate representation before the respondents- Authority to consider and resolve his grievances. 3. Considered the grievance raised herein, the petitioners are given a liberty to submit a representation to the respondents-Authority within a period of 30 days raising all grounds and the respondents-Authority are directed to [2026:RJ-JP:8384] (3 of 3) [CW-20058/2018] consider and decide the representation after enquiry about grievances, raised by the petitioners but with a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 60 days from date of receipt of representation. After the decision, the respondents are under an obligation to communicate the decision to the petitioners either by way of speed post or through E-mail, if petitioners have provided E-mail in their representation. If the petitioners are still aggrieved, they are at liberty to approach this Court with fresh petition. 4.
