CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS JURISDICTION Ct.No.35 dc. Rejected C.R.M. (A) 2743 of 2026
In Re : An Application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Raghunathgunj Police Station Case No. 958 of 2026 under Sections 21(c)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

In Re : Guljar Sekh
... Petitioner.
Mr. Bishal Maity
... For the Petitioner.
Ms. Arushi Rathore, Mr. Suman Chakraborty
... For the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case on the basis of statement of co-accused. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that there are CDRs with the accused who is in custody. The subject-matter of the present case relates to alleged recovery of 1000 grams of Morphine. Having considered the prima facie materials available with the prosecution, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 2743 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.
