1. Upon hearing the learned advocate for the petitioners and the learned advocate for the state and on perusal of the materials in the case diary, it transpires that the present petitioners along with others attacked the de facto complainant on April25, 2026. The vehicle (toto) belonging to the de facto complainant was vandalized. Fire arms are alleged to have been used by the petitioners in such incident. 2. After the incident, a written complaint was lodged by the de facto complainant on May14, 2026. 3. On perusal of the materials in the case diary it appears that, no explanation has been given for such delay in lodging the First

Information Report. The vandalized vehicle has not been seized. No fire arms appear to have been seized till date. 4. I have gone through the statement recorded under Section 180 of the BNSS. 5. Learned advocate appearing for the state relies upon one such statement of a co-accused. Investigation of the case is still in progress. 6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of the petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail is allowed. 7. Accordingly, I direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a Bond of Rs.
10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and on condition that the petitioners will report before the Investigation Officer once in a fortnight till the conclusion of the investigation and on condition that the petitioners shall appear on every date before the jurisdictional Court on and from the date fixed for appearance of the accused and in default the jurisdictional Court will pass appropriate order to secure the presence of the petitioners in Court including cancelling the anticipatory bail granted without reference to this Court. 8. Accordingly, C.R.M. (A) 2493 of 2026 is disposed of. (Md. Shabbar Rashidi J.)
