1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.
2. By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities for approval of inter-district transfer of the petitioner as prayed for in his representation dated 23rd October, 2017 being Annexure P/6.
3. The petitioner contends that he is an Assistant Teacher of Dhagora Primary Basic School under District Primary School Council, Purulia. The petitioner joined in the said post on 4th February,
2010. The petitioner has been confirmed in the aforesaid post on 13th December, 2013. The petitioner is 45% disabled. The petitioner made an application before the Sub-Inspector of Schools, Manbazar-I Circle for inter-district transfer from district of
2 Purulia to district of Bankura. However, the same is still pending with the authority concerned. Hence, this writ petition.
4. Mr. Sourabh Sengupta, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that specific direction be issued upon the Chairman/Secretary, District Primary School Council, Bankura to consider the representation of the petitioner within a specific period.

Mr. Kaushik Chowdhury, learned Advocate appearing on behalf the West Bengal Board of Primary Education as well as Mr. Nilay Baran Mandal, learned Advocate for the District Primary School Council, Purulia submits that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authorities for taking a decision on the representation of the petitioner.

In view of such submissions advanced on behalf of the respective parties, respondent no.3, Chairman/ Secretary, District Primary School Council, Bankura is directed to consider the proposal for inter-district transfer as forwarded by the Chairman/Secretary, District Primary School Council, Purulia vide its Memo No.165 dated 28th August, 2019, in accordance with law, upon notice to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and pass a reasoned order. The reasoned
order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing of such order.

7. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this
order to respondent no.3, Chairman/Secretary, District Primary School Council, Bankura, for necessary compliance.
8. With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 4279 of 2025 stands disposed of.
9. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.
10. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
11. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.
12. There shall be no order as to costs.
13. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
14. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
