The present writ petition has been filed for following reliefs:- “a. For a direction upon the respondents to correct the online records of the land situated at Mouza-153 Netwari, under former Khata No. 55, and current Khata No.229, Plot No. 419, 420, 423, 424, 426, 427, and 428 admeasuring an area of 2.10 acres which has erroneously been shown as Anabad Bihar Sarkar which is in contradiction to the fact that schedule property is completely owned and possessed by the petitioner and the respondent authorities have themselves admitted the fact that in the offline records the land is recorded in the name of ancestor of the petitioner. b. For a further direction upon the respondent authorities after correction of the online records of the scheduled land, issue the rent receipt to petitioner after accepting the rent of the land in question which has erroneously been shown as Anabad Bihar Sarkar without taking into consideration the fact that land in question is owned and possessed by the Petitioner having marketable title.” 2. It has been claimed that the land in question is raiyati land and was recorded in the name of the forefather of the petitioner, who has since expired. The matter now relates to succession and mutation. Accordingly, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present Page | 2 W.P. (C) No.26 of 2026 writ petition with liberty to file an application for succession mutation in accordance with law. 3. Permission is accorded. 4.
