ORDER: (per Hon’ble Sri Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari)
This writ petition for Habeas Corpus has been filed challenging the order of preventive detention dated 17.04.2026 passed by the 2nd respondent-District Collector.
2. Time was granted to file the counter-affidavit.
3. Sri Kirthi Teja Kondaveeti, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, submits that after the report of the Advisory Board, the impugned order of detention has been revoked and in this regard G.O.RT.No.969, General Administration (SC-I) Department, dated 15.05.2026 has been issued.
4. A copy of the aforesaid G.O has been placed before the Court to show that the order of detention has been revoked and that the detenu has been directed to be released forthwith, if his

presence is not required in connection with any other cases. However, he submits that the detenu has been released.
5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
