Also heard Ms. M Kumari, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the CBI. 2. This is an application under section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- arrest bail to the petitioner Foizur Rahman in respect of CBI/ACB Guwahati Case Page No.# 2/2 No.RC0172026A0001 registered under Section 61(2) of the BNS, 2023 read with Section 7A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. 3. It is admitted fact that pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court on 11.02.2026, petitioner Foizur Rahman had already appeared before the Investigating Officer and has been cooperating with the police investigation. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides. 5. Since the petitioner has been cooperating with the Investigating Officer, he does not deserve to be detained in custody. For that reason, his pre-arrest bail application is allowed. 6. The interim bail granted to the petitioner Foizur Rahman by this Court on 11.02.2026 is hereby made absolute. 7. With the aforesaid direction, the Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
