In view of the surrender of the aforesaid licence, learned counsel submits that nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and the same has rendered infructuous. 2 Learned State counsel concurs with the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner and submits that, in view of the surrender of the licence, no further adjudication is required in the matter. 3 In view of the aforesaid submissions and the fact that the licence in question has already been surrendered by the petitioner, the present writ petition has rendered infructuous.
