JUSTICE S.G.PANDIT) The petitioner-Lokayukta is before this Court, questioning the order dated 28.11.2017 in Application No.8211/2015 passed by the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal at Bengaluru (for short “Tribunal”) whereunder the application of respondent No.3 is allowed and the Government Order entrusting the enquiry to the petitioner and consequent Articles of Charge are quashed. 2. Heard learned counsel Sri.Venkatesh S Arbatti for petitioner and learned senior counsel Sri.M.S.Bhagawat for Sri.Mohana C., learned counsel for respondent No.3 and - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010126332022 NC: 2026:KHC:42223-DB WP No. 6083 of 2022 learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents Nos.1 and 2. 3. During the course of hearing, it was brought to the notice of the Court that subsequent to quashing of entrustment order and Articles of Charge, fresh entrustment order was passed and enquiry was conducted. On the subsequent enquiry, by Government Order dated 06.11.2025, respondent No.3 has been exonerated. 4. In view of subsequent enquiry and exoneration of respondent No.3 by Government Order dated 06.11.2025, the writ petition would no more survive for consideration and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
