At the outset, learned State counsel submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Assistant Labour Commissioner and has JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2026.09.11 11:53:14 +0530 2 been posted at Ambikapur. In view thereof, the present petition has become infructuous. 2. Per contra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in view of the subsequent promotion and posting of the petitioner at Ambikapur, the earlier order of transfer dated 30.06.2026 deserves to be quashed. 3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 4. It is not in dispute that during the pendency of the present petition, the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Assistant Labour Commissioner and posted at Ambikapur. In view of the subsequent promotion and posting, the impugned order of transfer dated 30.06.2026 no longer survives for consideration and is accordingly quashed. 5.
