Learned counsel for respondent No.1 is present. 3. It is stated that this appeal is filed against the dismissal of the claim petition in a death case, on the ground that the claimants had not produced any document to show that they were the relatives of the deceased. Though the appeal was filed in the year 2016, the appellants have kept quiet and not get ready with the matter. The matter is listed today, i.e., 10.08.2026, under the caption “For Dismissal”. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the appellants. This clearly shows that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the litigation and no purpose is served in continuing the same. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for non- prosecution.
