This is the first bail application filed by the applicant under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail, as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 558/2026 registered at Police Station – City Kotwali, Balodabazar, District- Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh for the offence punishable under Section 34(2) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act. 2. Learned counsel for the State would submit that the present applicant has 10 previous criminal antecedents, out of which 7 RAHUL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by RAHUL DEWANGAN 2 are under the Excise Act, which have been explained in Part-D of the bail application, whereas 3 criminal antecedents have not been disclosed in the bail application. 3. In view of the aforesaid submission, learned counsel for the applicant seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present application at this stage, with liberty to avail the appropriate remedy in accordance with law. 4.
