D/L72 25.08.2026 Bpg. C.R.M. (A) 2768 of 2026 In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Nakashipara Police Station Case No.488 of 2026 dated 30.05.2026 under Sections 115(2)/117(2)/118(2)/126(2)/109/76/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 ; Jadu Gopal Ghosh and Anr. Versus The State of West Bengal Mr. Amanul Islam Mr. Sourav Mukherjee Mr. Gourav Roy. …for the petitioners. Ms. Arushi Rathore Mr. Arijit Bhushan. …for the State. Mr. Sumanta Das. …for the de facto complainant. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have been implicated in connection with the instant case over previous grudge. State has produced the case diary and referred to the statement of the injured as well as the injury report. Learned advocate for the de facto complainant opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. On an assessment of the nature of injury sustained by the injured and the complicity of the present petitioners, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. 2 Accordingly, CRM(A) 2768 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
