Petitioner is serving as Village Development Officer. She was transferred from one district to another, on her request. Some other Village Development Officers were also given inter-district transfer, on request. All such transfers were subsequently cancelled by the State Government, vide order dated 21.02.2025. Petitioner did not challenge cancellation of her transfer order at the relevant point of time. Other Village Development Officers, whose transfer orders were also cancelled, filed writ petitions, which were decided by this Court in their favour and it was held that there was no reason for cancelling the transfer orders. 4. Petitioner has now approached this Court for challenging the order, whereby her transfer was cancelled. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner is a fence-sitter and she did not approach this Court when her transfer order was cancelled and she has filed this writ petition when everything has been decided on writ petitions filed by other persons. 2026:UHC:2894 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has submitted a representation to the Secretary, Panchayati Raj, in response to a circular issued on 09.02.2026 by Secretary, Panchayati Raj. He submits that the Secretary be directed to take decision on the said representation. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Secretary concerned to take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner, as per law, within three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
