The application has still not been processed. Learned advocate for the Electricity Department says that the application will be considered and a decision will be taken within thirty days. Let that be done. If the department does not find any deficiency in the application, the department shall provide electricity connection to the petitioner within a month from the petitioner complying with all requisite formalities. In case, the petitioner’s application is disallowed, cogent reason will be recorded therefor. WPA/61/2026 is disposed of.
