The petitioner is aggrieved that his application for compassionate appointment, made some time in January, 2026, has not yet been considered. 3. The petitioner’s wife died in harness sometime in the year 2024. The petitioner had, thereafter, applied for appointment on compassionate ground. It is this application which has not been considered. 4. I direct the respondent No. 3 to consider the report of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance 2 with the subsisting polity for compassionate appointment by October 15, 2026. 5. With the aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 6. There shall be no order as to costs. 7.
