This writ petition is not directed against any particular order but against inaction on the part of the respondent authorities for not deciding the petitioners’ representation for grant of adequate compensation to the petitioner in accordance with The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners’ private land situated at village Saida, Tehsil Sakri is submerged under the Kopra Reservoir and the same has been confirmed by the concerned authorities. As such, the petitioners have filed a representation before the concerned authorities for grant of compensation but the same has not been considered and decided till date. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner has made a limited prayer, which can be granted by this Court. 3 (WPC No. 4575 of 2026) 5. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the case, the concerned respondent authorities are directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law within 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The respondent authorities shall be at liberty to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after verifying the facts of the case. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
