CRM (A) 1780 of 2026
In Re: An Application for Anticipatory Bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Rampurhat Police Station Case No. 198/2026 dated 23.03.2026 under Sections 329(4)/115(2)/117(2)/109(1)/351(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023.
And In the matter of : Badare Jaman @ Badarjaman Sk & Anr.
……Petitioners.
Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty
Mr. Shashanka Sekhar Saha
……for the Petitioners.
Mr. Kaustav Lal Mukherjee
….for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner no. 1 is aged 22 years and petitioner no. 2 is aged 57 years. They have been falsely implicated in the instant case pursuant to a long standing dispute over a land.
Learned advocate for the State has submitted the case diary, drawn the attention of the Court to the injury report and the statement of the injured.
Having considered the same, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, CRM (A) 1780 of 2026 is dismissed.
